We all know that the Apple iPhone 5 is right around the corner, but the mobile market has changed drastically since the introduction of the first iPhone in 2007. While the iPhone 4S is still selling incredibly well (and shows no signs of slowing down), Apple needs to make some changes to its iconic device to help it compete with the onslaught of high-end Android and Windows Phone devices.

Executives from Cisco, Clearwire, and Sprint discuss 4G 
With the economy in the shape that it’s in, it’s clear that a lot of families are struggling. In an effort to help these people, mobile carrier Sprint has program that offers free wireless service to those who are unemployed or have a low-income. The program is called Assurance Wireless, and it gives eligible participants a free cell phone and 250 minutes each month.
