I’m not much of a tech-y guy, and I’m getting an iPhone for my birthday. I’ve noticed that iphone 4 costs triple of the previous version. I look at the difference list but it’s mostly jibrish to me.
Can anyone explain the differences between the two, and if it’s worth it to get the latter?
Assuming you mean the new iPhone 4 and the still current iPhone 3GS, there are a substantial number of differences between these models in design, display, capability, performance, battery life and more.
For most users, the iPhone 4 is "worth it," but an independent comparison can be useful for you to decide whether the lower upfront price of the iPhone 3GS is more important than the other differences:
